Aria Nakamura Nguyen

picture of me!

Hello! Thank you for visiting my site.

I am a software engineer looking for an opportunity to develop my career. I enjoy meticulous design and thoughtful organization to bring about intuitive solutions. I have a variety of skillsets I am interested in exploring, such as database management, UI/UX design, API development, and web animations.

I’m really into food and music. I currently work professionally as a cook and perform gigs as a mariachi violinist. These experiences have given me invaluable lessons in teamwork, task management, creativity, performing under pressure and/or time constraints, adapting to unforeseen situations, accountability, and self-motivation, all of which I believe are skills that translate to software engineering.

Some hobbies I am currently pursuing: playing pickleball with my mom, running, learning how to solve a Rubik’s cube, reading with my book club, knitting, board games, and font design.
